The Proposal of Family Business Development Providing Bus Transport Services

The diploma thesis is focused on the proposal of strategic development of the transport company DZS. M.K- Trans, s.r.o. operating in Slovakia. The theoretical part defines the basis necessary for understanding the issues of planning the development and growth of the company, including a description of selected analytical methods. The aim of the analytical part, is to identify the key factors affecting the current situation of the company and will serve as a basis for deciding on strategic directions. In the third part is chosen the most suitable development strategy, which will lead to strengthening of the selected company on the market.

Analysis and solution of transport in Znojmo

The thesis focuses on the traffic situation in the district town of Znojmo in the South Moravian Region. The thesis deals with individual traffic modes, especially road traffic and cycling, but also with static traffic (traffic at rest), where parking and optimization design is addressed. The thesis also marginally deals with rail and bus public transport. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the existing state of the individual modes of transport in the entire cadastral area of Znojmo, but since the cadastral area of Znojmo also includes transport in the extravilan, the thesis is mainly focused on transport in the intravilan. The traffic load according to the National Traffic Census of the Regional Directorate of Transport and the degree of motorization from the databases of the Road Vehicle Register of the Ministry of Transport are analysed. In the second part of the thesis, selected problem spots in Znojmo are addressed, and measures for improving the comfort and safety of road users are proposed. Furthermore, parking is addressed, where the city was divided into areas according to functional use and the shortcomings were found and then the optimal solution was proposed.

The diploma dissertation deals with the bus transport process analysis. More specifically, it deals with a proposition of the reclamation subprocess control. The dissertation contains the description of subprocess of the main process of bus transport. Moreover, it contains the analysis of the original state of the reclamation subprocess control and a set of measures and recommendations that lead to the more effective evaluation of this subprocess.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of hinge for the doors on bus technical and luggage compartments. The theoretical part is focused on the types of hinges and their capabilities. The practical part deals with the design process, including system analysis using calculations and measurements. A solution universally applicable on different door sizes is proposed, which also meets the requirements for water drainage and door adjustment. The final assembly is optimized by calculations. Benefits and impacts are evaluated.

An impact of the 1st wave of Covid-19 pandemic on transport services in municipalities of Czechia

Covid-19 pandemic affected the whole world in short period of time. Big impact was registered by transportation sector. Public transport was affected by Covid-19 disease as soon as it started spreading. This thesis observes specifically a period of February and April 2020. One of the main problems was decreasing demand for public transport. This bachelor thesis aims to determine the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on bus and train connections in municipalities of Czechia. The aim is achieved by data analysis obtained from central timetable of IDOS. The analysis examines the microregional level from angle of population size of municipalities, and from angle of specifics of individual regions. In another level, this thesis examines connection of individual regional cities, and then concludes the study by evaluating the impact of pandemic on international travel. In general part, this bachelor thesis examines measures and restrictions introduced to fight the disease around the world, and in Czechia. Then continues to describe the means of providing and financing the public transport and the specifics of transport serviceability. Analysis of the public passenger transport in the session Brno – Prague

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the analysis of public passenger transport between two Czech largest cities, Brno and Prague. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, I first define some key terms in the field of transport and then I focus on the main point of this part, which is legislation regarding public transport in the Czech Republic. The following practical part consists mainly of the analysis of the offered links of individual carriers and the subsequent comparison and evaluation of what is the most advantageous possibility for the customers. At the end of the thesis I mention trends that can affect the transport between these cities in the future. The overall objective of the thesis is to provide analysis of rail and bus public transport in the mentioned session.
